— Who we are Kamala Nehru Memorial Hospital is a philanthropic medical facility providing high-quality care at an affordable cost to all who need treatment — especially the economically poor and underprivileged. Established to honour Smt. Kamala Nehru and dedicated to the nation by Mahatma Gandhi in 1941, the hospital reflects an enduring legacy of compassion and social responsibility. Its 16.6-acre campus in the heart of Prayagraj houses a 400-bed facility with multiple specialties, state-of-the-art equipment, and advanced medical infrastructure. Recognized by the Government of India as a Regional Cancer Centre since 1994, KNMH is a vital hub for complete cancer care across the region. A dedicated Rural/Base Hospital extends affordable healthcare to remote communities beyond city limits, and NABH accreditation in 2019 affirmed the hospital's commitment to patient safety and operational excellence. Today KNMH treats more than 1.60 lakh patients every year.
